This website is operated by Vivienne Rose Wallpaper & Interiors, an independent, family-run wallpaper and interiors retailer established in 2017. Our shop is at 3 Dyer Lane, Beverley, HU17 8AE. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you order.

Ordering and the contract

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We will send you an email acknowledging that we have received your order, but this is not acceptance. A contract between us is formed only when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will let you know and refund any payment you have made.

We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we are unable to deliver to your address.

Pricing and VAT

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies, unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately before you complete your order. We try to make sure all prices are correct, but if we find an error in the price of something you have ordered, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price before we process your order.

Payment

Payment is taken at the time you place your order. We use Stripe to process card payments securely. We do not store your full card details on our own systems. By paying through Stripe you also agree to their terms where they apply to the payment.

Delivery

We deliver to mainland UK. Delivery charges, timescales and any restrictions are set out on our Delivery & Returns page. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you have given us.

Availability and drop-shipping

Some of our orders are dispatched directly by our suppliers on our behalf. We do everything we can to keep stock information accurate, but availability can change. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and offer a replacement, a wait, or a full refund.

Wallpaper is printed in batches and colours can vary slightly between batches. We recommend ordering all the rolls you need in one go. Please see our FAQs for more guidance.

Cancellation and returns

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and to return them within a further 14 days. Some items, such as bespoke or cut-to-order products, may be excluded. Goods returned must be unused and in their original condition and packaging. Return postage is normally at your cost unless the item is faulty.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something is faulty, we will repair, replace or refund it as the law requires.

Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses, as our products are supplied for private and domestic use. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse it without our permission, except as needed to browse the site and place an order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
