Where to buy wallpaper in Beverley and East Yorkshire

Try to buy decent wallpaper in Beverley and you hit the same wall most people do. The DIY sheds out towards the retail parks carry a small rack of the same few designs everyone has. The lovely independent shops in the town centre lean towards furniture, gifts and homeware, and most do not stock wallpaper at all. So you either settle for the paint-aisle range, or you drive into Hull, or you order blind off a screen. We started this shop to give East Yorkshire a third option.

What the town already has

Beverley is good at independent retail. The Saturday and Wednesday markets, the shops around North Bar and Toll Gavel, the homeware and interiors places dotted through the centre. To put faces to the names, Archive Rose Green is a good example of the Cath Kidston florals, and Josette Linen shows the softer Laura Ashley end of the range. Neither turns up on a DIY-shed spinner. Browse by colour and style
